TASTING NOTES
This beautiful Pinot Noir shows typical characteristics of red cherry, strawberry, earth and spice. The palate is medium-bodied and succulent, with forest floor complexity woven into the cherry fruit, and silky texture.

PRODUCER

Allegory is a range of expressive varietal wines that showcases the elegance and vibrancy typical of Western Australia. They are made by Howard Park, a family-owned winery founded in 1986, and one of the state’s best respected producers. Howard Park have a unique combined expertise in both the Margaret River and Great Southern regions, and by carefully blending selected parcels of fruit from each, they allow Allegory to capture the essence of Western Australia.

VINEYARD
The majority of the grapes come from the Denmark region of Western Australia, with a proportion of Margaret River fruit as well. The vines are predominantly over fifteen years old planted on deep Karri gravelly loams over medium clays. They are routinely shoot thinned and green harvested.

WINERY
The fruit was fermented in stainless steel tanks with traditional pump- overs carried out each day to aid fruit and tannin development. The separate lots were then pressed to older French and Americna oak barriques for twelve months’ maturation.
