Rich, hearty berry fruit aromas lead to a beautifully balanced, medium- bodied palate, with the exuberant fruit lifted but some peppery spice. Delicious modern Côtes-du-Rhône.

PRODUCER
The Mazets de Saint Victor vineyard is located in the medieval village of Saint Victor la Coste, in the historic cradle of Côtes-du-Rhône.
VINEYARD
The grapes for this wine are grown on clay/limestone soils and the vines are between twenty and thirty years old. Grapes were harvested by machine at optimum ripeness.
WINERY
Grapes were destemmed and cooled down to 20oC. Fermentation took place with selected yeasts and traditional maceration lasted for three weeks. The wine matured on the lees until time of botteling.
