PRODUCER
Italy’s north-eastern corner is home to its greatest concentration of fine white wines. It was in the region of Collio Goriziano that low-temperature winemaking techniques were introduced in the 1960s, and the fresh, delicately aromatic style of these often varietal wines became the new blueprint for the whole area. Marco Felluga is a leading exponent of modern Collio (as it is commonly known), offering unoaked varietal wines of intensity and purity, as well as lightly oaked and beautifully textured blends.
VINEYARD
The grapes come from 15-20 year old vines planted on marl soils, and were harvested by hand in mid-September.
WINERY
The fermentation took place at 18oC in stainless steel tanks, and the wine was then held in tank at 12oC before being bottled in early spring.
