VINEYARD
A single-site wine from the Occhetti vineyard, situated 250 metres above sea level in Monteu Roero. The soil is sandy, with gravel and some calcareous clay; the exposure is south/south-west.
WINERY
The grapes were crushed and destemmed, then fermented at a maximum of 29oC with a ten-day maceration. The wine was aged in a mixture of seventy-hectolitre and 300-litre oak barrels, with no new oak.
TASTE
This single-vineyard Nebbiolo offers an elegant nose with hints of raspberries and roses. On the palate, it is full and harmonious with a long, positive finish.
